研究概要

My doctoral research focused upon body image and professionals working in eating disorders services.
The goal of my research was to explore the impact of working within an eating disorders service on professional’s own body image. I am interested in both body image and reflective practice.

My clinical research explored the experience of placement breakdown from the perspective of young people in care, foster carers and social workers. The goal was to examine the risk and protective factors connected with placement breakdown. My clinical research interests include children in care, trauma and attachment theory.

At Fukuoka Women’s University, my research interest will be psychological factors that affect language learning.
