1984/9-1985/1: UK Ministry of Agriculture (MAFF), Newcastle, UK. Junior scientific officer (entomologist).
1985/6-1985/9: Operation Raleigh, Chile. Expedition member (archaeology, desert/mountain exploration).
1986/9-1989/4: UK secondary schools. Science & rock-climbing teacher for students aged 11-18.

In order to improve the ACE Program at FWU, my current research is related to syllabus design, team teaching, active & student-centered methodologies, collaborative learning, and self-directed learning.
