Graduate Course in Environmental Science (Master’s Degree Course)

Our aim in education is to foster professionals in research or businesses related to the field of environmental science. Interactions between organisms and their environments are major issues to be studied in the course. We aim to conduct integrated education and research activities which comprehensively cover areas in both the life science and materials sciences.

Graduate Course in Nutrition and Health Science (Master’s Degree Course)

Our purpose is to contribute to the public health and welfare of society. Toward this goal, we have been building up theories on the relation between food and health through advanced studies and education about the nutrition essentials for human life, and also have been producing professionally trained students with the ability to put into practice such theories for the benefit of society.

Graduate Course in Living Environment Science (Master’s Degree Course)

The aim of our graduate course is to nurture specialists who can address various issues concerned with our living environment. These specialists will develop capabilities in many fields to create a safe, comfortable, and sustainable society. Some detailed areas of education and research in the graduate school are listed below:
1. Studying dwellings which will provide a risk-free, comfortable, and healthy environment
2. Design of articles for daily use suitable for life in the 21st century, taking into consideration overall design and the needs of older persons, based on psychological aspects as well as physical ones
3. Development of technologies based on new energy sources, including fuel cells, and eco-friendly materials for use in daily life
4. Analysis of the environmental load of surfactants
